Sky Lanterns User Instructions

Before you start, we strongly recommend that you follow local regulations and principles of environmental protection when using Sky Lanterns. Here are some basic steps:

Step 1: Preparation

Remove the Sky Lantern from its packaging and gently unfold it. Make sure there are no tears or damages inside the lantern.

Step 2: Write Your Wish

Use a non-smudging pen to write your wish or blessing on the Sky Lantern. If you prefer not to write anything, you can proceed to the next step.

Step 3: Ignite The Fuel Source

Open the fixed fuel at the bottom of the Sky Lantern, then use a lighter or matches to ignite it. Ensure your hands and any other flammable materials are kept away from the flame.

Step 4: Release The Sky Lantern

Wait until the interior of the Sky Lantern fills with hot air (usually takes about a minute), then let it go upright, and the Sky Lantern will rise naturally. Please keep the surroundings clear and avoid obstacles like trees and power lines.

Precautions:

• Please release the Sky Lantern in calm or light wind conditions to prevent the flame from being blown out or the lantern from being blown into dangerous areas.
• Do not release the Sky Lantern in places where open flames are prohibited or near flammable materials.
• Try to release the Sky Lantern in an open area to prevent it from drifting onto trees or buildings.
• Adult supervision is required when children use it, and it's not suitable for children under three years old.
• Do not attempt to reignite a Sky Lantern that has already been extinguished.
• If the Sky Lantern fails to rise, please do not forcibly throw it out, wait for it to rise naturally.
